Contactless Measurements development project
Following a specific question from the clinical research market, BeWell Innovations and 2M Engineering have set up a collaboration. This collaboration involves a project and activities that contribute to the current transition in care, looking for ways and methods to automate repetitive tasks of healthcare professionals.
There are currently no medically validated techniques for contactless length and temperature measurements that can be used in medical products such as self-testing kiosks. Measuring these parameters accurately with no contact has several advantages for both hospitals and healthcare (cost-effectiveness, efficiency), as well as the patient (faster measurement, user-friendly, hygienic, early diagnosis).
This project is publicly funded by the EU’s Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland – CrossRoads 2 fund.
