The WellPoint patient self-testing kiosk enables people to independently measure their own vital parameters at a point-of-care, and delivers the resulting health parameters to physicians. This frees up time for caregivers to perform more critical tasks. The WellPoint kiosk can also be valuable in communities where medical facilities are less accessible.

How it works

  1. Patients sit down on the WellPoint kiosk and follow the steps on the touchscreen.
  2. The screen guides people through the simple steps to operate the medical devices on the kiosk.
  3. Measurement results are delivered to your institution's internal patient data system, or printed on a ticket.
  4. Physicians can access the data and use the input as part of the therapy.

Spotlight story

UZ Leuven (Leuven University Hospital) uses the WellPoint kiosk in their oncology department to let physicians spend their time more productively.

Every day, between 180 and 220 patients visit the oncology department for a consultation. The classic measurements by physicians take 3:07 minutes on average. If patients measure their parameters themselves, physicians can theoretically spend 10 hours per day on other, more complex tasks.

Easy-to-use

Effective

Our diagnostics data tells us that performing a full test (meaning: blood pressure, weight and SpO2) takes patients between 3 and 4 minutes on average – without help. That's as fast, if not faster than a human caregiver.

Adaptable

We can tailor the WellPoint kiosk to your particular needs. For example, we can identify patients based on their electronic ID cards or even hospital ID cards, and deliver results straight to their electronic patient record.
